Luiz Fernando Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto de Godoi in the 3rd minute of play. When ALMA GUERREIRA's Bebeto de Godoi in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marília AC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Messias during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Marília AC got a freekick which was hit by Dito Messias. If Bebeto de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Vânderson Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bebeto de Godoi in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of ALMA GUERREIRA booed when Marília AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto de Godoi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fernando Trigo saved Marília AC from getting behind. Alexandre Fantini hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Bebeto de Godoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fernando Trigo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto de Godoi in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fernando Trigo saved Marília AC from getting behind. In the 29thth minute of the game Bebeto de Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marília AC's Luiz Fernando Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Bebeto de Godoi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Fernando Trigo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto de Godoi in the 34th minute of play forced Marília AC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Bebeto de Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marília AC's Luiz Fernando Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 0-3 became the score in the 44th minute when Bebeto de Godoi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to ALMA GUERREIRA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bebeto de Godoi hit a great ball. After the first half ALMA GUERREIRA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bebeto de Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marília AC's Luiz Fernando Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Marinho in the 52nd minute of play. Ulisses Vinhas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fernando Trigo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulisses Vinhas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 56th minute. Luiz Fernando Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bebeto de Godoi's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 64 minutes, Bebeto de Godoi made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Marília AC's Luiz Fernando Trigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiaguinho Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Tiaguinho Paranaense got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ALMA GUERREIRA's zone, Kaká Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Severo came out of the goal and Kaká Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 played minutes Marília AC got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Pernambucano. Marília AC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Bebeto de Godoi scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Fernando Trigo, making the score, 0-6. Alexandre Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Ramón Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bebeto de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Luiz Fernando Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALMA GUERREIRA. Luiz Fernando Trigo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Bebeto de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Marília AC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tião Marinho. The Marília AC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ALMA GUERREIRA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
