When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidnei Teixeira made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play Marília AC's Zeca Magalhães was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- booed when Marília AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeca Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vânderson Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
