The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo José Gonçalves during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesinha da Silveira to make the kick off. Edmundo Lopes was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Cesinha da Silveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cesinha da Silveira really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Edmundo Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha da Silveira in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Santo Amaro AC's Cesinha da Silveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edmundo Lopes. In the 77th minute Diguinho Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha da Silveira came free, but Edmundo Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Cesinha da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santo Amaro AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesinha da Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th match minute, Santo Amaro AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Maia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha da Silveira in the 90th minute of play forced FC Gustavo FPRMZ's goalkeeper Edmundo Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Cesinha da Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Santo Amaro AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Gustavo FPRMZ throughout the match.
