The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Torino SSA's Pedrão Furlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Torino SSA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz da Costa in the 6th minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes Zemantauskas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luan Lucas who took care of the corner kick. Luan Lucas made a great header on Torino SSA's corner, it was just that Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha managed to reach the ball for a save. If Remo Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Guerra came free, but Sílvio Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Víktor Guerra made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Penha. Zemantauskas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sílvio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz da Costa in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Aguiar came free, but Sílvio Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Torino SSA's goalkeeper Pedrão Furlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remo Varela. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davi Mello in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrão Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sílvio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Aguiar in the 31st minute of play. Bebeto de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdir Ortiz during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's Valdir Ortiz got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Torino SSA's zone, Davi Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrão Furlan came out of the goal and Davi Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Luiz da Costa made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Davi Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Torino SSA got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Guerra. 58 minutes into the match, Torino SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Berger came free, but Pedrão Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrão Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Berger in the 61st minute of the match. Jerônimo Guerra was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. Torino SSA's Toninho da Fonseca was substituted for Sílvio Luiz da Costa. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Torino SSA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zemantauskas FC:s goal. Sílvio Penha made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Bernardinho Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha got control of the ball when Toninho da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torino SSA made a substitution. Beto Cavalcante replaced Bernardinho Aguiar. A collision led to Torino SSA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ricardo Leite hit a great ball. Sílvio Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Torino SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Varela came free, but Pedrão Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Zemantauskas FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Serginho Simões hit a great ball. Fabiano Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Luan Lucas made a great header on Torino SSA's corner, it was just that Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha managed to reach the ball for a save.
