The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Remo Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. In the 10th match minute, VARGINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Terra to maneuver through the defense. Zemantauskas FC's Alex Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Davi Mello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Remo Varela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gabriel Medeiros made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Davi Mello took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gabriel Medeiros to make any attempt to save it. Gabriel Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Ortiz in the 34th minute of play. Davi Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Gabriel Medeiros made a huge save. Gabriel Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The long shot by Paulão Nóbrega in the 60th minute really tested Sílvio Penha's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Paulão Nóbrega made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zemantauskas FC's Fabiano Trevisan. After 66 minutes, Davi Mello made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. VARGINHA FC's Gabriel Medeiros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alex Berger scored 7-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Varela in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Zemantauskas FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Remo Varela hit a great ball. Gabriel Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Berger went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Gabriel Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Mello in the 84th minute of play forced VARGINHA FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Davi Mello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Gabriel Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
