Sílvio Hermes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 26th minute, Osmar de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrianinho Goiano in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Quirino saved Goiás Esporte Clube from getting behind. When LOBO 1908's Adrianinho Goiano in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Goiás Esporte Clube booed when LOBO 1908 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Adrianinho Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Goiás Esporte Clube succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though LOBO 1908 had controlled the match.
