The corner led Pesqueira City's Valdemar Nascimento to fire away a dangerous shot which Valdir Dracena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valdir Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes WMWILD1983FC got a freekick which was hit by Adrianinho Aparecido. After a defensive mix-up in WMWILD1983FC's zone, Chiquinho Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdir Dracena came out of the goal and Chiquinho Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Chiquinho Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WMWILD1983FC's Valdir Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdir Dracena came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Chiquinho Alcântara. But to his dismay, Chiquinho Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ivo de Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoni Solecki in the 28th minute. A collision led to Pesqueira City getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Humberto Xavier hit a great ball. Valdir Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pesqueira City's Chiquinho Alcântara in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WMWILD1983FC's goalie prevented a goal. WMWILD1983FC's Valdir Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho Alcântara in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Chiquinho Alcântara made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. WMWILD1983FC's Valdir Dracena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Pesqueira City's Valdemar Nascimento couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for WMWILD1983FC. Ademar Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Ivo de Moraes made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodriguinho Ortiz in the 77th minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Ivo de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. WMWILD1983FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
