Rômulo Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TAQUARI FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Souto in the 37th minute of play forced TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murillo Botelho during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the TAQUARI FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barra EC.
