Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Paulo França started the match with the kick off. Sílvio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Barbosa came free, but Sílvio Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Leite notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta. Sílvio Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Willian Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granadero10 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Granadero10 were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after TAQUARI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hermínio Ferreira took the corner. If Willian Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Zonta came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Inácio Barbosa. But to his dismay, Inácio Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luís Paulo França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sílvio Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Murillo Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Zonta came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Gugu Travassos. But to his dismay, Gugu Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 47 minutes of play, TAQUARI FC's Valdir Peres made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sydney Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gugu Travassos made a kick off. Sydney Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo França in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Tiago Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Sydney Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Paulo França's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Barbosa in the 68th minute of play forced TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Luís Paulo França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TAQUARI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Paulo França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiago Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Zonta having to interfere. Granadero10's Severino Mendes was substituted for Gugu Travassos. After 77 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Seco. Zézinho Freire was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo França in the 84th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Sydney Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Perez. After some careless play in the TAQUARI FC defense, Severino Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Zonta. The TAQUARI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Zonta should have stopped the shot. The Granadero10 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Granadero10 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
