Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wágner Miranda in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oswaldo Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the game, Wilian Quadros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Quirino got free with Oswaldo Nunes in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
