A collision led to Xiboquinha FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gilson Madureira hit a great ball. Júlio Linares made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Benjamin Lucas sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the game, Guto Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Abel Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the match, SOL's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Preuss came free, but Abel Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Cleiton Cordeiro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SOL's Abel Novaes. Abel Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Sanches. Abel Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Jacob Preuss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Novaes. SOL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacob Preuss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 28th minute, Jacob Preuss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 31 played minutes SOL got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Perez. In the 33rd minute, Guto Tasso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xiboquinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 36th minute, Jacob Preuss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 41st minute, Kléberson Sanches made a precise shot to the right of Abel Novaes. SOL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guto Tasso made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, SOL's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Tasso came free, but Abel Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 53 in the game by Cleiton Cordeiro from a close distance when the talented Abel Novaes managed to make a qualified save. SOL's players were relieved. In the 54th minute Kléberson Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Kléberson Sanches dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abel Novaes, 0-8. In the 63rd minute of the match, Guto Tasso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abel Novaes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SOL's Abel Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SOL from getting a goal against them. Guto Tasso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abel Novaes came out and tried to block the shot, but Guto Tasso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 68th minute. Jacob Preuss scored 0-10 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Novaes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind SOL's goalkeeper Abel Novaes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes, Jacob Preuss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xiboquinha FC and the SOL players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Xiboquinha FC booed when SOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Novaes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléberson Sanches in the 84th minute. Benjamin Lucas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Jacob Preuss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Abel Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sílvio Favoretto hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jânio Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Jânio Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Guto Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xiboquinha FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
