Brasiliense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Thiago Silvan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Galo do Japi's Falcão Duarte quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Brasiliense FC's Cris Bala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Catarinense in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Catarinense came free, but Cris Bala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cris Bala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cris Bala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Wilfredo Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Catarinense in the 23rd minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Cris Bala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deng Zhen Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Delfim Chaves made a huge save. 0-3 became the score in the 27th minute when Wilfredo Cefero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Rossi. With a little luck, Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves got control of the ball when Juninho de Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Silvan's late challenge caught a Galo do Japi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thiago Silvan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Brasiliense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Silvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Paulo Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Cris Bala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Brasiliense FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Thiago Silvan hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Catarinense came free, but Cris Bala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brasiliense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Falcão Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Galo do Japi's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Galo do Japi's Falcão Duarte to fire away a dangerous shot which Cris Bala despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Cefero made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Cris Bala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Cefero. Cris Bala made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Wilfredo Cefero sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Cefero notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Brasiliense FC's Cris Bala. Cris Bala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delfim Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deng Zhen Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Delfim Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deng Zhen Fan in the 64th minute of the match. Delfim Chaves came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Brasiliense FC's Deng Zhen Fan. But to his dismay, Deng Zhen Fan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 71st minute of the game Thiago Silvan made a throw-in which Aníbal Prado played forward. The supporters of Brasiliense FC booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Ronaldo Joinvilense made a precise shot to the right of Cris Bala. Brasiliense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 80 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Joinvilense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Cris Bala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ronaldo Joinvilense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Ronaldo Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Bala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Cris Bala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Cefero. In the 93rd play minute Ronaldo Joinvilense came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cris Bala. 1-7. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Galo do Japi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
