Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Charles Mota started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes of play, Vila Zumbi's Almir Salgado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7 minutes into the match, Almir Salgado notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sport Club Cevada's Luiz Fantini. Luiz Fantini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Almir Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Salgado in the 16th minute of play. Almir Salgado scored 0-3 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fantini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Lucas in the 28th minute of play forced Vila Zumbi's goalkeeper Hermínio Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by José Pedro da Mata with Pedro Augusto Alagoano as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 40th minute, Almir Salgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Almir Salgado took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fantini. Luiz Fantini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 47 minutes into the game, Vila Zumbi's Almir Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After the first half Vila Zumbi were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kang Fan Xiang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fantini was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Almir Salgado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Almir Salgado really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Vila Zumbi's Almir Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kang Fan Xiang in the 68th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Vila Zumbi got a freekick which was hit by Kang Fan Xiang. Charles Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Silva having to interfere. Almir Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luiz Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Kang Fan Xiang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Fantini, 0-10. 84 minutes into the match, Sport Club Cevada's goalkeeper Luiz Fantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Almir Salgado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Salgado in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chico Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Eliseu Peixoto fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Club Cevada's protests and gave Eliseu Peixoto a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Sport Club Cevada got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Peixoto. When Almir Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Vila Zumbi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Almir Salgado couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Vila Zumbi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sport Club Cevada.
