After 8 minutes of play, Vila Zumbi's Almir Salgado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Túlio Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the game, Vila Zumbi's Almir Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Túlio Cerezo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Almir Salgado's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes ALTHENTIC F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gigel Tofan who took care of the corner kick. Vila Zumbi's Gigel Tofan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Túlio Cerezo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Túlio Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Salgado in the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Almir Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Túlio Cerezo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Salgado in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Túlio Cerezo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Túlio Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Silva having to interfere. If Almir Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Salgado struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Túlio Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Zumbi. The audience was convinced that Almir Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Túlio Cerezo was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Túlio Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Túlio Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Almir Salgado went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Urbano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Almir Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ALTHENTIC F.C getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Leopoldo Mineiro hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, ALTHENTIC F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kang Fan Xiang came free, but Túlio Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Almir Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Túlio Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 63rd minute, Almir Salgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Almir Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Túlio Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ALTHENTIC F.C's Abelardo Urbano got a free kick in the 74th minute. The supporters of Vila Zumbi booed when ALTHENTIC F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Salgado in the 81st minute of play forced ALTHENTIC F.C's goalkeeper Túlio Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ALTHENTIC F.C's goalkeeper Túlio Cerezo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Túlio Cerezo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the last second Túlio Cerezo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kang Fan Xiang in the 85thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Almir Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Almir Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, ALTHENTIC F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Salgado came free, but Túlio Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Túlio Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vila Zumbi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vila Zumbi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
