In the 3rd minute, István Borbély hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to LULU TRICOLOR getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cleiton Alves hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Emerson Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseu Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Paranaense in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Yuri Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Nunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, Emerson Leal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espigão Steamrollers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LULU TRICOLOR the free kick. A collision led to Espigão Steamrollers getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Emerson Leal hit a great ball. Vicente Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Dias in the 36th minute of play. Luís Paulo Dias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Catarinense came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Paulo Dias slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. In the 45th match minute, Espigão Steamrollers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Pombal to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Cleiton Alves hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Eliseu Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Eliseu Nunes was a little too slow when Yuri Paranaense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-2. After 60 minutes of play, Espigão Steamrollers's Yuri Paranaense made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Abreu hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Espigão Steamrollers's Válter Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yuri Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Espigão Steamrollers's Eliseu Nunes threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yuri Paranaense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ronaldinho Cruz made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zé Pedro Donatello immediately put the ball in play. Yuri Paranaense scored 2-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yuri Paranaense took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Nunes. Eliseu Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Espigão Steamrollers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
