The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Simão came free, but Ramón Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes Dragões Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Valle. Ramón Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richárd Rodrigues Da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Simão in the 18th minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Ramón Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Bebela's Aírton Simão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramón Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Bebela's goalkeeper Dedê Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago Lima. Vitinho Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Aírton Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bebela's Aírton Simão in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragões Barbudos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Richárd Rodrigues Da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Dragões Barbudos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Lima to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Britto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramón Leão having to make a save. Ramón Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Simão in the 43rd minute of the match. Thiago Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dedê Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thiago Lima was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Thiago Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidney Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Jacinto having to interfere. With his leg Ramón Leão managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Bebela's Angelo Britto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angelo Britto came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ramón Leão could save by the left post. Angelo Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 77 minutes into the game, Richárd Rodrigues Da Silva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramón Leão. Richárd Rodrigues Da Silva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. With a little luck, Dragões Barbudos FC's Ramón Leão got control of the ball when Aírton Simão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 minutes, Eliseu da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragões Barbudos FC and the Bebela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Eliseu da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
