Fabiano Lopez hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Simão came free, but Edmílson Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Angelo Britto put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edmílson Britto. Luís Eduardo Alagoano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luís Eduardo Alagoano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trindade Atlético Club's Edmílson Britto did a great save. When Bebela's Aírton Simão in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Aírton Simão fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bebela's protests and gave Aírton Simão a yellow card for diving instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time.
