The Izaltina FAD fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Izaltina FAD's Dinei Peres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edorta Quintas in the 13th minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Egídio Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Dinei Peres put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Egídio Sampaio. The audience was convinced that Dinei Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egídio Sampaio was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the game, Roberto Paulista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fellipe Sampaio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Peres came free, but Egídio Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Cerezo's late challenge caught a Izaltina FAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute Gino de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elivélton Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Canarinho Atordoado's corner Fellipe Sampaio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rony de Medeiros quite easily take care of the ball. Denílson Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Sampaio having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Jefferson Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th play minute Denílson Faria came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Egídio Sampaio. 0-7. Egídio Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Peres in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Peres came free, but Egídio Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino de Lima in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Bernardo Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Izaltina FAD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Canarinho Atordoado.
