Indiana Jones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Sampaio having to interfere. Oswaldo Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Canarinho Atordoado booed when Matanza and Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Paiva made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Fellipe Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. Indiana Jones kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The nice shot from Fellipe Sampaio in the 24thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Gabriel Paiva had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 25th minute Canarinho Atordoado were awarded a corner. Percival dos Santos went to the cornerflag to take it. When Matanza and Steelers's Senad Or in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gabriel Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Senad Or had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Sampaio in the 32nd minute. Matanza and Steelers's Gabriel Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Matanza and Steelers from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Matanza and Steelers's zone, Olívio Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Paiva came out of the goal and Olívio Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Fellipe Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Gabriel Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canarinho Atordoado. Percival dos Santos scored 2-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Paiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Percival dos Santos came free, but Gabriel Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canarinho Atordoado's Jefferson Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Matanza and Steelers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Percival dos Santos was slow to take the kick. During this time Canarinho Atordoado's players had a chance to rest. After 65 minutes of play, Canarinho Atordoado's Percival dos Santos made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Paiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egídio Sampaio was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Senad Or capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Senad Or really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival dos Santos in the 77th minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Gabriel Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canarinho Atordoado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Percival dos Santos in the 78th minute. Percival dos Santos made a great header on Canarinho Atordoado's corner, it was just that Matanza and Steelers's Gabriel Paiva managed to reach the ball for a save. Jefferson Rossi struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Gabriel Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canarinho Atordoado. Fellipe Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Jefferson Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canarinho Atordoado's protests and gave Jefferson Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Canarinho Atordoado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Rossi to maneuver through the defense. If Senad Or had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jefferson Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gabriel Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Canarinho Atordoado were the better team. Canarinho Atordoado's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
