Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Haroldo Marinho got the match started through his kick off. Valdir Pérez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafu Silveira in the 4th minute. In the 11th minute, Cafu Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, PIRATAS TFP's Cafu Silveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Cafu Silveira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Valdir Pérez, passed just outside the right post. 18 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's Alexandre da Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdir Pérez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 19 minutes União Verde FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ademir Moreno who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on PIRATAS TFP's corner Ademir Moreno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valdir Pérez quite easily take care of the ball. Cafu Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre da Cunha came free, but Valdir Pérez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When PIRATAS TFP's Cafu Silveira in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União Verde FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute PIRATAS TFP were awarded a corner. Ademir Moreno went to the cornerflag to take it. When PIRATAS TFP's Cafu Silveira in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União Verde FC's goalie prevented a goal. 31 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Camargo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of PIRATAS TFP's Elano Toledo. Elano Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafu Silveira in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Pérez saved União Verde FC from getting behind. PIRATAS TFP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ademir Moreno in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Ademir Moreno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez did a great save. Valdir Pérez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafu Silveira in the 37th minute. The corner led PIRATAS TFP's João Vítor de Medeiros to fire away a dangerous shot which Valdir Pérez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valdir Pérez was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Cafu Silveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cafu Silveira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Vítor de Medeiros got free with Valdir Pérez in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Silveira came free, but Valdir Pérez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cafu Silveira got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 3-1 in the right cross in the 48th match minute before Valdir Pérez had time to react. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 55 minutes of play, PIRATAS TFP's Cafu Silveira made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of União Verde FC booed when PIRATAS TFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Cafu Silveira put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Valdir Pérez. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cafu Silveira in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdir Pérez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Alexandre da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. PIRATAS TFP's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Pérez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to União Verde FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Edvaldo Camargo hit a great ball. Valdir Pérez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PIRATAS TFP's Cafu Silveira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Silveira in the 95th minute of play forced União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu Silveira scored 8-1 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdir Pérez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PIRATAS TFP had won after a very even match.
