If Thiago de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Flying Dutch got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Santos. Niceto Xacintu took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edu Ramos. Edu Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to ARON FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Edson Recife hit a great ball. Edu Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Xacintu in the 23rd minute of play. After 28 played minutes ARON FC got a freekick which was hit by Nando Rosa. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Cardoso in the 28th minute of play forced ARON FC's goalkeeper Edu Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Cardoso in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edu Ramos saved ARON FC from getting behind. After 30 minutes, André Luís Cardoso made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. ARON FC's Edu Ramos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Niceto Xacintu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flying Dutch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 39th match minute, ARON FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Rosa to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Flying Dutch were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexsandro Eger during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edu Ramos was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Niceto Xacintu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niceto Xacintu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. The Flying Dutch fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Flying Dutch's André Luís Cardoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edu Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes Flying Dutch got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Xacintu. A hard shot 83 in the game by Niceto Xacintu from a close distance when the talented Edu Ramos managed to make a qualified save. ARON FC's players were relieved. ARON FC's Edu Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Cardoso in the 84th minute of play. Flying Dutch's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Xacintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edu Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
