The audience was convinced that Kauã Mangueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdemar de Moraes was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Mangueira in the 17th minute of play forced Bene Animatus's goalkeeper Valdemar de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Valdemar de Moraes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kauã Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar de Moraes having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Horácio Matorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bene Animatus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Błαck Bułłs MZ the free kick. In the 28th minute, Horácio Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdemar de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Valle in the 29th minute of the match. Bene Animatus's Valdemar de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Bene Animatus from getting a goal against them. Augusto Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caco Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caco Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Nildo Rezende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Błαck Bułłs MZ got a freekick which was hit by Caco Massa. 41 minutes into the match, Bene Animatus's Horácio Soares broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nildo Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Kauã Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horácio Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Bene Animatus got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Salgado. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Augusto Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Salgado in the 52nd minute of play. Kauã Mangueira's late challenge caught a Bene Animatus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball had pretty good speed, but Augusto Pereira firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 77thth minute of the game Kauã Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bene Animatus's Valdemar de Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Bene Animatus's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Mangueira came free, but Valdemar de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Kauã Mangueira notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bene Animatus's Valdemar de Moraes. Valdemar de Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Abel Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar de Moraes having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitório Ribeiro during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bene Animatus booed when Błαck Bułłs MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
