The score was now 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, Celso Montenegro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Icoara Football Club's Aírton de Amorim. Aírton de Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the game, Enéas Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Icoara Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Błαck Bułłs MZ the free kick. The supporters of Błαck Bułłs MZ booed when Icoara Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Icoara Football Club's Aírton de Amorim got control of the ball when Eusébio Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dário de Godoi hit a great ball. Oséas Vander hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Augusto Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Vander in the 40th minute of play. If Evaristo Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Afonso Romero got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Aírton de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Celso Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Evaristo Recife made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wellington Cunha during the 53rd minute. Aírton de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remo Mello's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Oséas Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Aírton de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Castro in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Vander in the 88th minute of play forced Błαck Bułłs MZ's goalkeeper Augusto Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséas Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Augusto Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Caco Massa fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Błαck Bułłs MZ's protests and gave Caco Massa a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Brasil. Icoara Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
