Maurício Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Arósio in the 37th minute of play forced ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's goalkeeper Maurício Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Décio Messias. Téo Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's Aníbal Arósio got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeferson Carneiro made a kick off. Silvano Mohamed kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. If Geovânio Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Sipo EC's Décio Messias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurício Veiga. Décio Messias's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maurício Veiga firmly grabbed it by the left post. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Décio Messias scored to the left of an out of position Maurício Veiga, making the score, 0-5. 74 minutes into the match, Décio Messias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maurício Veiga, 0-6. In the 80th match minute, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Dante to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Wanderson Porto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Maurício Veiga didn't even have to move. After 83 minutes of play, Sipo EC's Elói Ferreira made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Maurício Veiga got control of the ball when Américo Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurício Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Marinho in the 91st minute of the match. The ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sipo EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
