The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Valadares came free, but Genílson Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Valdir Arósio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sipo EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 11 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Renan Luz. Genílson Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Ogden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Valadares in the 15th minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Genílson Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Almeida hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Roman Ogden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Genílson Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sipo EC's Genílson Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Pinheiro in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Sipo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Porto to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Arósio got free with Felipe Guimarães in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luan Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The long shot by Rodolfo Porto in the 37th minute really tested Felipe Guimarães's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Sipo EC booed when Bobobi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Guimarães acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Renan Luz. In the 42nd minute, Carlos Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Décio Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Valdir Arósio made the kick off in the second half. Felipe Guimarães didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sipo EC's Décio Messias shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 55 minutes, Renan Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sipo EC and the Bobobi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Renan Luz. 60 minutes into the match, Sipo EC's goalkeeper Genílson Gaspar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Valadares. The supporters of Sipo EC booed when Bobobi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Bobobi FC's Cafu Ramos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cafu Ramos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bobobi FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cafu Ramos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 68th minute, one of Bobobi FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bobobi FC. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Sipo EC. Renan Luz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felipe Guimarães. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Arósio in the 73rd minute of play forced Bobobi FC's goalkeeper Felipe Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Ogden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genílson Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Paulo Pernambucano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Guimarães. Bobobi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Sipo EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
