The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maurício Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Brasil in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, GLADIADORES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deilmison Robben to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Maurício Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Coelho in the 22nd minute of the match. Nicklas Sjöström charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicklas Sjöström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicklas Sjöström hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Maurício Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison Robben, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Cesinha Brasil scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Deilmison Robben notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Maurício Veiga. Maurício Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 38 minutes of play, GLADIADORES's Leonel Coelho made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Maurício Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha Brasil in the 43rd minute of play. Maurício Veiga came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by GLADIADORES's Deilmison Robben. But to his dismay, Deilmison Robben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Ramalho made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Brasil came free, but Maurício Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Cesinha Brasil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GLADIADORES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. 62 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's Cesinha Brasil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurício Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maurício Veiga was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Cesinha Brasil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cesinha Brasil really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. Carlos Fernando Berger came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maurício Veiga could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Coelho in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurício Veiga saved ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ from getting behind. GLADIADORES played a much better game than ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ and deserved their victory. The ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
