The referee ignored Mosqueteiros 4EVER's protests and gave Norberto do Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. Norberto do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Chiquinho de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ronaldo Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chiquinho de Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ronaldo Alcântara scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chiquinho de Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Dário Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute Ronaldo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Norberto do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mosqueteiros 4EVER getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ediberto de Toledo hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Alcântara came free, but Chiquinho de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Alcântara in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chiquinho de Moraes saved Mosqueteiros 4EVER from getting behind. Chiquinho de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Martins in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Ronaldo Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chiquinho de Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ferreira Lopes MZC made a substitution. Herald Depauw replaced Luka Beaugendre. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ediberto de Toledo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ulf-Hendrik Korreborg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Herald Depauw quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 53 minutes of play, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Dário Martins made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dário Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Alcântara in the 61st minute of play forced Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Chiquinho de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Chiquinho de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Alcântara in the 62nd minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Chiquinho de Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dário Martins. In the 72nd minute, Ronaldo Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chiquinho de Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 77th minute, Ronaldo Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferreira Lopes MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Alcântara in the 81st minute of play forced Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Chiquinho de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ronaldo Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chiquinho de Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Chiquinho de Moraes threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronaldo Alcântara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Herald Depauw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Ferreira Lopes MZC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mosqueteiros 4EVER throughout the match.
