In the 16th minute of the match, Edmílson Lara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfredo Paes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Edmílson Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredo Paes. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Alfredo Paes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrinho Teixeira went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Adalberto Branco made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by IGUIPORÃ FC's Zé Ortiz. When Eduardo Barral fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugênio Favoretto made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Eugênio Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IGUIPORÃ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugênio Favoretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Sydney Bittencourt managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when IGUIPORÃ FC's Eugênio Favoretto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. IGUIPORÃ FC's Guilherme Seco was substituted for Elivélton Cerezo. IGUIPORÃ FC's Víktor dos Santos was substituted for Antônio Carlos Soares. A collision led to IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. João Francisco Abreu hit a great ball. IGUIPORÃ FC's Guilherme Seco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡. IGUIPORÃ FC's Eugênio Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. IGUIPORÃ FC's Perivaldo Veloso was substituted for Eduardo Barral. Alfredo Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
