Mineiros Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xurupita FC the free kick. Marcelo Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Frédson Donato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Paranaense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Xurupita FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mineiros Esporte Clube.
