The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 3 in the game by Tiãozão Machado from a close distance when the talented Caetano Pirani managed to make a qualified save. Feminista MZC's players were relieved. Clemente Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltazar de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. Baltazar de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Tróia in the 5th minute of play. Pedro Paes's late challenge caught a Gracie Barra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Paes helped the player get up and apologised. 9 minutes into the match, Feminista MZC's goalkeeper Caetano Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiãozão Machado. Clemente Tróia hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Caetano Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiãozão Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Feminista MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paes to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Feminista MZC's Clemente Tróia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltazar de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tiãozão Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Feminista MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Luz to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Hílton Mattos in the 28th minute really tested Caetano Pirani's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aílton Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Gracie Barra getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Hílton Mattos hit a great ball. Caetano Pirani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiãozão Machado in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Xavier in the 40th minute of play forced Feminista MZC's goalkeeper Caetano Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltazar de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiãozão Machado had several of the Feminista MZC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Caetano Pirani as he didn't even see the shot coming. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Tróia to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Tiãozão Machado made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Feminista MZC's Caetano Pirani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Tiãozão Machado put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Caetano Pirani. Agnaldo Sarmento hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tiãozão Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Pirani having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Feminista MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Godoi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caetano Pirani. Feminista MZC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Mota to maneuver through the defense. Tiãozão Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Caetano Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Tiãozão Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feminista MZC's Caetano Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caetano Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiãozão Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84thth minute of the game Tiãozão Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feminista MZC's Caetano Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute Tiãozão Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes of play Feminista MZC's Rubinho Koehler was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Caetano Pirani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiãozão Machado's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Clemente Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Tiãozão Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiãozão Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 96th minute, Tostão Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, Feminista MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiãozão Machado came free, but Caetano Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gracie Barra's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
