The supporters of Xurupita FC booed when Gracie Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiãozão Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltazar de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Fernando Rocha went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Arlindo Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Arlindo Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Queirós in the 21st minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Teodoro Valle rounded Gracie Barra's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Tiãozão Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Meireles having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gracie Barra's Hílton Mattos got a free kick in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Albertinho Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xurupita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gracie Barra the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Gracie Barra's Tiago Godoi tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. André Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Tiãozão Machado made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gracie Barra's Tiãozão Machado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 54th minute, Carlos Augusto Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiãozão Machados short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Arlindo Meireles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 61 minutes, Tiãozão Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gracie Barra and the Xurupita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Gracie Barra got a freekick which was hit by Tiãozão Machado. Arlindo Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Xavier in the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Xavier got free with Arlindo Meireles in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xurupita FC's Arlindo Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Queirós in the 83rd minute of play. A hard shot 86 in the game by Tiãozão Machado from a close distance when the talented Arlindo Meireles managed to make a qualified save. Xurupita FC's players were relieved. In the 94th match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Gracie Barra played a much better game than Xurupita FC and deserved their victory. The Xurupita FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
