Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cássio do Vale started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Bruninho Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rapinantes F.C. and the SeleSantos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Rapinantes F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Fabiano Lucas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio do Vale in the 6th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Abelardo de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SeleSantos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cássio do Vale received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabiano Lucas came out and tried to block the shot, but Cássio do Vale slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Pedrão Falcão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabiano Lucas having to make a save. Márcio Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Márcio Valle during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Márcio Valle hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Cássio do Vale recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabiano Lucas. Cássio do Vale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 42 minutes into the game, SeleSantos FC's Vivaldo Loureiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabiano Lucas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Diniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Cássio do Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Lucas was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Cássio do Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 61st match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio do Vale to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Rapinantes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo de Moraes came free, but Fabiano Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Trevisan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo de Moraes in the 68th minute of play forced Rapinantes F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabiano Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vivaldo Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SeleSantos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vivaldo Loureiro couldn't finish the play. When Cássio do Vale got free in front of the goal in the 70th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Fabiano Lucas was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Diniz came free, but Tales Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 75 minutes on the clock, Pedrão Falcão commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Pedrão Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Abelardo de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Beto Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 minutes of play, SeleSantos FC's Abelardo de Moraes made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabiano Lucas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the game, Norberto Trevisan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SeleSantos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rapinantes F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Rapinantes F.C. booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SeleSantos FC fully deserved thier win.
