Edgar Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Adilson Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, LRCA Office Club's Josué Mangueira got control of the ball when Joaquim Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Giovana F C booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. LRCA Office Club's Josué Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Arruda in the 31st minute of play. Josué Mangueira made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Duarte Arruda sent off a good shot on target.

Joaquim Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The tension between the LRCA Office Club and the Giovana F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. But to his dismay, Gino de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When Wesley Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Giovana F C's protests and gave Wesley Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Giovana F C getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Wesley Rodrigues hit a great ball. LRCA Office Club were furious when Amadeu Capixaba was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 67th minute, Joaquim Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giovana F C's Adilson Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Mazza in the 71st minute of play. After 76 played minutes Giovana F C got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Lopez. In the 78th minute, Joaquim Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josué Mangueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Wesley Rodrigues was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 81st minute, Wesley Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edgar Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josué Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Daniel Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Doriva de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josué Mangueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Giovana F C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
