But to his dismay, Geovanni Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Massa came free, but Luís Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dieguinho Massa scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Koehler in the 19th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper Luís Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Koehler in the 22nd minute of play. Luís Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Moreira in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Jumentus Rock Club booed when PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 29th minute, Nuno Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Massa came free, but Luís Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Geovanni Moreira had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wágner Toledo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. Dudu Fernandes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Luís Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st play minute Dieguinho Massa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luís Maia. 0-9. In the 94th minute, Luiz Eduardo Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jumentus Rock Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Jumentus Rock Club played a much better game than PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ and deserved their victory. The PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
