The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 12 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper Luís Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dieguinho Massa. Tiaguinho Santana's late challenge caught a Jumentus Rock Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiaguinho Santana helped the player get up and apologised. Tiaguinho Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovanni Moreira in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Maia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Paulo Koehler in the 20th minute. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Jumentus Rock Club's Dieguinho Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geovanni Moreira struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Luís Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jumentus Rock Club. In the 34th minute, Gilson Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia got control of the ball when Zé Paulo Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Eduardo Gomes during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luís Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dieguinho Massa went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Dieguinho Massa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luís Maia came out and tried to block the shot, but Dieguinho Massa slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tiaguinho Santana made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Koehler in the 51st minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper Luís Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Zé Paulo Koehler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Thiago Alcântara got a free kick in the 55th minute. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Koehler in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Koehler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Luís Maia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luís Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho Massa in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Massa in the 63rd minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper Luís Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Koehler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Luís Maia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Wágner Toledo hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match Tales Goiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Maia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luís Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovanni Moreira went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Luís Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Koehler in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Geovanni Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Maia. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanni Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Paulo Koehler in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Maia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Maia came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Jumentus Rock Club's Nuno Valladares. But to his dismay, Nuno Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 91 minutes into the match, Zé Paulo Koehler notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia. Luís Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Massa in the 94th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Jumentus Rock Club's Dieguinho Massa made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jumentus Rock Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
