After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ian Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leon Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Guilherme Abud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Braga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 23rd minute, José Vítor Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leon Sport Club's Joel Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Aparecido in the 31st minute of play. The Braga Junior FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
