With a little luck, ECS FK's Arturo Borubar got control of the ball when José Vítor Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th minute Braga Junior FC were awarded a corner. Emilio Lain went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Braga Junior FC's corner Emilio Lain fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arturo Borubar quite easily take care of the ball. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arturo Borubar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Vítor Aparecido's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Braga Junior FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emilio Lain in the 14th minute. Braga Junior FC's Silvinho Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Browall in the 18th minute of play. Braga Junior FC's Edison Brena quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vali Ivăncioiu, made in the 23rd minute of the game. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Flavinho Velloso hit a great ball. Silvinho Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quin Camaño's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Dênis Matorin's late challenge caught a Braga Junior FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dênis Matorin helped the player get up and apologised. Dênis Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Botelho in the 30th minute of play forced ECS FK's goalkeeper Arturo Borubar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes ECS FK got a freekick which was hit by Vali Ivăncioiu. Asmus Molbo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Asmund Rundkvist scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvinho Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute, Dênis Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vítor Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Arturo Borubar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braga Junior FC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asmund Rundkvist to make the kick off. Asmus Molbo kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Silvinho Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlinhos Trancoso in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quin Camaño got free with Silvinho Veiga in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the match, ECS FK's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Aparecido came free, but Arturo Borubar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th match minute, ECS FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Chepe to maneuver through the defense. ECS FK's Arturo Borubar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Aparecido in the 59th minute of play. Arturo Borubar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Vítor Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, ECS FK's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Aparecido came free, but Arturo Borubar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match Braga Junior FC got a corner. ECS FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Lain ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Emilio Lain hit a great ball. Emilio Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Felipe Hendrix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Silvinho Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Davis Damasceno took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvinho Veiga. Silvinho Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, ECS FK's Dênis Matorin got a free kick in the 88th minute.
