With a left leg Joel Umea saved Leon Sport Club from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Vinhas came free, but Joel Umea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Leon Sport Club booed when SE Tijolo 6 Furos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zico Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Soni Féron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dagoberto Severo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leon Sport Club's protests and gave Dagoberto Severo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SE Tijolo 6 Furos booed when Leon Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Vinhas came free, but Joel Umea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldão Vinhas to strike the kick off in the second half. Joel Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
