Cássio Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico de Salles having to interfere. Elói Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Barbie Doll United U23's Tião França in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pedro de Senna replaced Adrianinho Eger. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arlindo Madureira hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 83rd match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Senna to maneuver through the defense. Tião França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Waldemar de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fábio Leme came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frederico de Salles could save by the left post. Lúcio Domingues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Gaúcho went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Paulo Martini got a free kick in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
