To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Barões F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Meireles came free, but Álvaro Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Vítor Meireles in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Costa saved Barões F. C. from getting behind. Celsinho Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Álvaro Costa made a huge save. Joel Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Barões F. C.'s Álvaro Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Meireles in the 18th minute of play. João Vítor Meireles in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Álvaro Costa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's Washington Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Recife in the 27th minute of play. C.'s Ulysses Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Barões F. C. booed when LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC. João Vítor Meireles stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Álvaro Costa. 2-0. In the 65th minute, Celsinho Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Álvaro Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Meireles in the 73rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC were the better team. LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
