Sylwester Soszka hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Paulinho Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Pedro Veiga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Caco Furlan. Pedro Veiga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Paulinho Zanette in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Caco Furlan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Caco Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Pedro Veiga struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Caco Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DJVAGALUMY FC.. Caco Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Mário de Amaral put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kléber Abreu. Pedro Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Furlan having to interfere. With a little luck, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Caco Furlan got control of the ball when Abelardo Neiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eriberto Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 39th play minutes Mário de Amaral shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Kléber Abreu and just under the crossbar into goal. Caco Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Vargas in the 42nd minute of play. Iuri Queirós hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulinho Zanette to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Olímpico Blumenau FC defense, Pedro Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caco Furlan. The Olímpico Blumenau FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caco Furlan should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Henrique Sergipano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caco Furlan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Caco Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caco Furlan came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Henrique Sergipano. But to his dismay, Henrique Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Olímpico Blumenau FC's Caco Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Zanette in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute Pedro Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caco Furlan came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Abelardo Neiva. But to his dismay, Abelardo Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. 85 minutes into the match, Olímpico Blumenau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Zanette came free, but Caco Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Breno Vianna during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Breno Vianna hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Henrique Sergipano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caco Furlan. Olímpico Blumenau FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrique Sergipano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
