Breno Vianna hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. João Francisco Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Nada Pontual F.C got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Bezerra. In the 9th minute of the match Dieguinho Magalhães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonardo Marques skillfully saved the ball. Nada Pontual F.C's Leonardo Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário de Amaral in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Glauco Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Caco Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nada Pontual F.C. After 15 played minutes, Olímpico Blumenau FC's Dieguinho Magalhães shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonardo Marques came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olímpico Blumenau FC reached it. Caco Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Martins in the 16th minute of the match. Leonardo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Cunha in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonardo Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário de Amaral in the 26th minute of the match. Antônio Carlos Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Leonardo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute of the match Lino Cordeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caco Furlan skillfully saved the ball. Leonardo Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the game, João Francisco Martins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Caco Furlan. João Francisco Martins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After the first half Olímpico Blumenau FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when João Francisco Martins made the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Mário de Amaral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Leonardo Marques when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leonardo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário de Amaral in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Olímpico Blumenau FC booed when Nada Pontual F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nada Pontual F.C's Leonardo Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Nada Pontual F.C from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Nada Pontual F.C's Leonardo Marques got control of the ball when Mário de Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th play minute Mário de Amaral came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonardo Marques. 1-3. Leonardo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário de Amaral in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Nada Pontual F.C getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Lino Cordeiro hit a great ball. Leonardo Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário de Amaral in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Nada Pontual F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mário de Amaral came free, but Leonardo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Queirós in the 88th minute of play. Leonardo Marques had great luck who in the 92ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Mário de Amaral from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 95th minute, Mário de Amaral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonardo Marques. The goal made the score 1-4. Olímpico Blumenau FC played a much better game than Nada Pontual F.C and deserved their victory. The Nada Pontual F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
