In the 19th minute Luisinho Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Domina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam de Moraes. After 24 minutes, Telmo Vasconcelos made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Dé Souza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edson Araújo took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Domina. Alexander Domina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Alexander Domina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Ramalho in the 36th minute of the match. With his leg Alexander Domina managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's José Pedro Vides fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Petardo Futebol e Surf's Moisés Madureira in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalie prevented a goal. Adrianinho Favoretto hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A collision led to Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Vides hit a great ball. When Luisinho Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's protests and gave Luisinho Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. Telmo Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edson Araújo was the one to do the kick off. Dé Souza was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Adrianinho Favoretto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrianinho Favoretto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's zone, Adrianinho Favoretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dé Souza came out of the goal and Adrianinho Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Araújo in the 59th minute of play forced Petardo Futebol e Surf's goalkeeper Alexander Domina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Cordeiro hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Edson Araújo. When Bruno-Henrique Corsi came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno-Henrique Corsi couldn't finish the play. José Pedro Vides might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Domina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Pedro Vides ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexander Domina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Moisés Madureira struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Dé Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petardo Futebol e Surf. 91 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Favoretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dé Souza. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrianinho Favoretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Petardo Futebol e Surf's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
