After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's Renato Lago got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Walmir de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Paulo Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Goiano in the 19th minute of play. Naldo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Rezende in the 22nd minute of play. The Queluzito fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Queluzito's Clóvis Quirino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clóvis Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Clóvis Quirino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naldo Mello was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Naldo Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Quirino in the 33rd minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Quirino in the 42nd minute of play. Karl-Oskar Strömberg struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Naldo Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queluzito. The Wambalamba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Queluzito were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clóvis Quirino made a kick off. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Quirino in the 53rd minute of play. Naldo Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Cezar Rizea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Queluzito's Karl-Oskar Strömberg got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Oskar Strömberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Naldo Mello firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 71st match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Queluzito's José Ramalho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Naldo Mello but with some difficulty. Otávio Rezende received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Naldo Mello came out and tried to block the shot, but Otávio Rezende slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 80th minute. In the 86th match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Soares to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Otávio Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wambalamba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Karl-Oskar Strömberg scored to the left of an out of position Naldo Mello, making the score, 0-4. The Queluzito players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
