With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademir Mello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th match minute, Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Ivo Marquez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, one of Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ademir Mello made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Carlinhos da Costa sent off a good shot on target. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Maranhense was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, André Luís Vasconcelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER and the E.C 2 Janeiro RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of E.C 2 Janeiro RS booed when Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Fellipe Rezende got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Marcel Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Oséas Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Barreto charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the E.C 2 Janeiro RS players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
