After 11 played minutes E.C 2 Janeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Paes. Marcel Falcão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. Telmo Madureira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Falcão in the 15th minute. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dário do Valle in the 17th minute. Telmo Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Davi Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcel Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Madureira having to interfere. Telmo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Leite in the 27th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Dário do Valle rounded E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Marcel Falcão might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Falcão ran back to his position shaking his head. Ademir Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Eger in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of E.C 2 Janeiro RS booed when Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Humberto Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davi Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's Luís Fernando Fonseca got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The supporters of E.C 2 Janeiro RS booed when Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Luís Fernando Fonseca hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Davi Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Madureira. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Davi Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 66 minutes into the game, Wágner Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E.C 2 Janeiro RS the free kick. After 66 played minutes Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Cunha. Marcel Falcão hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ademir Mello came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Humberto Paes. But to his dismay, Humberto Paes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 73 minutes into the match, Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's Marcel Falcão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Telmo Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haroldo Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Falcão came free, but Telmo Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telmo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Maranhense in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Paes in the 82nd minute of play forced Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's goalkeeper Ademir Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Raphael de Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Ademir Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Fellipe Rezende got a free kick in the 89th minute. Dário do Valle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Telmo Madureira. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER's Ademir Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael de Salles in the 94th minute of play. Ademir Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Pó de DiaManTe FMZ 4ÉVER support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
