After 6 played minutes S.C.CHUÍ got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Sampaio. 8 minutes into the match, Laerte Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Madureira. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laerte Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Telmo Madureira came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C.CHUÍ's Eriberto Godoi. But to his dismay, Eriberto Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 14th minute, Eriberto Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 25 played minutes E.C 2 Janeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Nunes. After a defensive mix-up in E.C 2 Janeiro RS's zone, Raúl Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Madureira came out of the goal and Raúl Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Paes struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Cido Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C 2 Janeiro RS. Felipe do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Telmo Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, S.C.CHUÍ's Eriberto Godoi made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Paes to strike the kick off in the second half. Telmo Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Godoi went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After 54 minutes, Dorian Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C.CHUÍ and the E.C 2 Janeiro RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cido Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael de Salles in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe do Nascimento. Cido Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Raphael de Salles in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.C.CHUÍ's goalie prevented a goal. 64 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe do Nascimento came free, but Telmo Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telmo Madureira made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Raúl Freire sent off a good shot on target. Geraldo Eger hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Felipe do Nascimento hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, S.C.CHUÍ's Amílton Terra got a free kick in the 78th minute. Jeremias Sampaio made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Haroldo Sanches. In the 82nd minute of the match, Raúl Freire got a very nice opportunity to score, but Telmo Madureira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 82nd minute, Geraldo Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of S.C.CHUÍ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of E.C 2 Janeiro RS:s goal. The referee gave E.C 2 Janeiro RS a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fellipe Rezende, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of S.C.CHUÍ's Cido Schmidt. 1-5. Cido Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael de Salles in the 94th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Laerte Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The S.C.CHUÍ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
