BRASIL.Sp's Frederico Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Breno Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Cerezo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A hard shot 18 in the game by Dito Brodel from a close distance when the talented Ubaldo Fillol managed to make a qualified save. BRASIL.Sp's players were relieved. Gilvan Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Sá in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Renascer getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Doni Carvalho hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Breno Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Gilvan Sanches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute Mame Picka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Sauer took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilvan Sanches. Gilvan Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 53 played minutes Renascer got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Antunes. Frederico Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gilvan Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilvan Sanches was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Breno Sá capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Breno Sá really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Renascer's Gilvan Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Renascer from getting a goal against them. Renascer's players were relieved. 77 minutes into the game, Breno Sá recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilvan Sanches. Breno Sá showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Frederico Vianna took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilvan Sanches. Gilvan Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. After 85 played minutes Renascer got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Melo. Gilvan Sanches made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Frédson Mineiro sent off a good shot on target. After 91 minutes, Breno Sá made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. Renascer's Gilvan Sanches tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Renascer's Gilvan Sanches got control of the ball when Frederico Vianna tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Sauer got free with Gilvan Sanches in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
