Washington Guerra started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Melo during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raimundo Melo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Raimundo Melo put in a rough tackle. Gilvan Sanches made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gustavo Sauer sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Renascer's Gilvan Sanches got control of the ball when Kléber Ferreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gustavo Sauer came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the BRASIL.Sp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Sauer couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Sauer might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilvan Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Sauer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th match minute, Renascer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Renascer's goalie and right to Kléber Ferreira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Renascer's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gustavo Sauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Sanches having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Breno Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusébio Aparecido's late challenge caught a BRASIL.Sp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Aparecido helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Renascer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Cafu Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRASIL.Sp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 68th minute, Kléber Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Mame Picka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilvan Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when BRASIL.Sp's Cafu Azevedo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Júnior Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Sanches having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Mame Picka came free, but Gilvan Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Mame Picka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gilvan Sanches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 86 minutes of play, BRASIL.Sp's Cafu Azevedo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilvan Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Sauer came free, but Gilvan Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Renascer got a freekick which was hit by Dito Brodel. Renascer's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Azevedo in the 93rd minute of play. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by BRASIL.Sp's Gustavo Sauer. But to his dismay, Gustavo Sauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. There was no doubt that BRASIL.Sp were the better team. BRASIL.Sp's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
