An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Trigo in the 11th minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Dênis de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Trigo got free with Dênis de Castro in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dênis de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvaldo Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvaldo Amaral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Dênis de Castro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Conrado Azevedo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dênis de Castro came out and tried to block the shot, but Conrado Azevedo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Trigo came free, but Dênis de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dênis de Castro made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Edvaldo Amaral sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Dênis de Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Trigo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Trigo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ricardinho Pirani charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardinho Pirani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Ricardinho Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dênis de Castro made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Beto Trigo sent off a good shot on target. Beto Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dênis de Castro made a huge save. In the 48th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Loyola to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beto Trigo to strike the kick off in the second half. Kauã do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dênis de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the game, Beto Trigo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dênis de Castro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dênis de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Amaral in the 69th minute of play. When Beto Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Relyn Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Trigo couldn't finish the play. Edvaldo Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dênis de Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvaldo Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ricardinho Pirani hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Edvaldo Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Relyn Futebol Clube failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
